US President Donald Trump has officially cancelled what would have been a historic meeting between a seating US President and a North Korean leader.
The meeting, which was due to take place in Singapore on June 12, was called off after the US administration took issue with North Korea’s comments directed at US Vice-President Mike Pence.
Mr. Pence was referred to as a ‘political dummy’ by North Korean officials.
Shortly afterwards the White House released a letter confirming that the upcoming meeting will now not go ahead.
