The US President Donald Trump has confirmed that his lawyer and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for Covid-19.
In a tweet the US President said: “@RudyGiuliani, by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC, and who has been working tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA, has tested positive for the China Virus. Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!”
The news comes as Giuliani has been visiting a number of US States submitting legal challenges on behalf of the President following the result of last month’s US Presidential Election.
