A Canadian van driver has paid the price for his foolishness as his employers have give him the sack after he was filmed deliberately driving through puddles in order to soak pedestrians.
The driver recieved his marching orders after footage appeared online showing him driving through a number of puddles which were located nearby innocent pedestrians.
According to reports in Ottowa, the driver was punished for his actions after the footage went viral receiving hundreds of thousands views.
Although the man will not face any criminal charges, the company Back and Mcdonald construction condemned his actions calling them ‘completely unacceptable’.
They added: ‘public safety is of the upmost priority and the individual involved in this isolated incident is no longer employed by our company.’
