The Minister for Health Leo Varadkar has revealed that talks on forming the 32nd Dáil will go on “for another few weeks” but they “should not and can’t go on forever”.
Mr Varadkar said the main objective is to form a government. However the health minister said discussions are “pretty far” from complete and there is still a long way to go. Meanwhile, the Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe has said Fine Gael are looking forward, and hope to enter negotiations with Fiann Fail soon.
Both Fine Gael TD’s comments come as the party will continue talks with a number of Independents this week.
