The Taoiseach has said some stomach-turning comments before, but this one really takes the biscuit.
Speaking in the Dail yesterday, the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said that immigrants were more likely to be working than the average Irish person and were more likely to be paying tax.
The comment has been met with disgust far and wide with some people claiming Varadkar is completely out of touch with reality.
Others say that this comment alone is another reason why we should have a serious conversation about Irexit.
