In a startling press conference yesterday evening, the caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said that this is now a very serious pandemic and people need to start taking it just as seriously.
Varadkar said that coronavirus cases are going to multiple 30% DAILY – which made journalists sit up and pay attention.
The Taoiseach said that there’s now a strong likelihood that Ireland will have some 15,000 cases of covid-19 by the end of March leading many to believe that the lockdown measures will be extended.
