Varadkar on the way out? New poll claims Sinn Fein remains party with most support




The latest opinion poll, which has measured voting preferences following the Budget, shows that Sinn Féin still holds the most support, reports RTE.

According to the Red C poll for the Business Post, the party has gained one percentage point, reaching 32%.

Meanwhile, Fine Gael’s support has decreased by one point to 20%, and Fianna Fáil also dropped one point, reaching 15%.

The poll shows that the support for Independents remained unchanged at 12%. On the other hand, the Social Democrats and the Labour Party both saw an increase of one point to 6% and 5%, respectively, reports RTE.

The Green Party remained at 4%, while People Before Profit Solidarity was also unchanged at 3%.

Aontú fell one point to 2%. The online poll was conducted between Friday 20 October and Wednesday 25 October and surveyed 1,018 individuals, reports RTE.
