Varadkar says hundreds of people on trolleys is ‘not acceptable’ – yet appears to suggest no solution whatsoever

It’s hard not to see the disaster that the health service has turned into, through no fault of its staff.

The problem lies firmly at the government’s front door but do they care? Do they what!

Taoiseach appointee (for a second time) Leo Varadkar has acknowledged that hundreds of people on trolleys is ‘not acceptable.’

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) recently announced that a historic record high of 931 people were languishing on trolleys across the country in recent days.

Apart from offering the perfunctory virtue-signaling statement, the rotating Taoiseach did not actually provide any solution to the matter.
