Varadkar says if there’s a spike when schools reopen the Government will not hesitate to act

Just as people are beginning to think that there’s some sort of light at the end of the lockdown tunnel, Leo Varadkar has issued a threat to the Irish public over what the government will do if we don’t behave ourselves.

Former Taoiseach appointee and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that the Government ‘will not hesitate to act’ if reopening of schools causes another spike in coronavirus cases.

Schools are due to reopen on a phased basis from March 1st throughout the month for all levels for schools and ages.

The current Level 5 lockdown restrictions have been extended until April. What’s your thoughts on this threat and the implications behind it? Tell us your thoughts in the Facebook post and share this with your friends.
