In a hypothetical scenario where pubs and nightclubs were to remain closed on August 31st, the Tanaiste Leo Varadkar said he hopes to be able to get government aid for the sector.
Varadkar said that it’s becoming increasing clear that many sectors will not be able to reopen. He said that he’d like to be in a position to help pubs and nightclubs financially if that is the case.
Nothing is certain at the moment but many people believe that pubs and nightclubs will not be able to reopen on August 31st.
