A knife-wielding man hijacked a vehicle in Phoenix Park over the weekend, with a baby still strapped to a child seat.
The thug forced a man and a woman out of the car and drove away, only to stop a short distance from the terrified parents to ask them to take the baby. He then fled the scene.
The vehicle has not been recovered.
