Veteran actor Dean Stockwell, best known for his starring role in the Quantum Leap TV series, has passed away aged 85.
Though his role as Admiral Al Calavicci in Quantum Leap was by far his most notable role, Stockwell’s career spanned almost seven decades. He received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in 1988’s Married to the Mob, and had a recurring role in the remake of Battlestar Galactica series between 2004 and 2009.
The actor passed away from natural causes on Sunday morning.
