UPDATE: TheLiberal.ie has contacted every member of Fine Gael and Labour in the Dail and Senate to ask them do they condemn or condone the behaviour of Frank Feighan TD on the streets of Roscommon yesterday.Outrage has been expressed from all 4 corners of the world by TheLiberal.ie readers, many young Irish emigrants who’ve been forced to leave this country because of policies enacted by Feighan & Co.We’ve also had comments from members of the public in England and America who have been quite simply shocked and stunned at the fact an elected politician in Ireland can act like this.

Shocking images of violence being perpetrated on an elderly man who simply wanted to talk to the Taoiseach occurred today on the streets in Roscommon. The scenes occured for Enda Kenny arrived in Roscommon town and was greeted by Frank Feighan who is a TD for the area.
Violence on our streets is sadly all too common an occurrence in our society, but we have been shocked to discover that the man responsible is elected TD, Frank Feighan.
Mr Feighan has belittled the office of TD and TheLiberal.ie calls on him to resign his position immediately.
