We didn’t just kick our competition’s backside in the Eurovision, we transformed Irish dancing around the world.
The phenoneon that is “Riverdance” was performed on April 30th 1996 for the first time at the Eurovision held in Dublin.
Since that infamous night in the Point Depot, Riverdance has played some 11,000 shows and seen live by over 25 million people.
