Last weekend Britain tragically lost another star when The Royale Family and Gogglebox creator Caroline Aherne sadly passed away after a long battle with lung cancer.
The star who was loved by many and recieved many tributes in recent days and former Oasis front man and High Flying Birds singer Noel Gallagher paid tribute to his dear friend by playing a cover of the infamous song ‘Half The World Away’ at a concert in Nashville.
Gallagher told his onlooking crowd: “I want to dedicate the next song to a friend of mine who died this afternoon. Her name was Caroline and she was a very, very, very funny woman. She used this next song on a very, very, very, very brilliant sitcom in England called The Royle Family.”
