Video of Christchurch massacre viewed by thousands on Facebook before site deleted it

The original video of the Christchurch terrorist attack was watched by more than 4,000 people before Facebook deleted it.

Terrorist mass murderer Brenton Tarrant live streamed his attack on the Al-Noor Mosque on Facebook and while only 200 people watched it live thousands more had seen it before Facebook took it down.

By then the video had been downloaded and shared on various sites. Within 24 hours Facebook blocked 1.2 million copies at the point of upload and deleted another 300,000 copies of the video.

Meanwhile the operator of another site known as ‘Kiwi Farms’ where the video was also shared has refused to co-operate with New Zealand police investigating the terrorist atrocity.

In a rebuttal to a request from the New Zealand authorities Joshua Conner Moon who runs the site called the investigating Detective Senior Sergeant John Michael a “joke” and dismisses New Zealand as a “a small, irrelevant island nation” and “s***hole country”.

The terrorist responsible for the mass shooting at the two Mosques that killed 50 people has been charged with murder and investigations into the possibility that he networked with other extremists continues.
