There were outbreaks of violence in Israel today, in the wake of President Trump’s decision to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Palestinians across Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem took to the streets today to show their repudiation for the move. The protests soon turned violent, and at least 49 people were injured after Israeli soldiers deployed anti-riot gear and reportedly used live ammunitinon to disperse crowds.
Most Palestinians now believe that Mr. Trump’s decision has killed off the peace process for good, and are calling for a third ‘intifada’ (uprising).
