Vote No: Confusion over referendums will leader to major court cases, says Aontu

The Aontú leader has stated that there would be “conflict” on the definition of the proposed language to amend the Constitution regarding family and care, which will result in a “solicitors’ paradise,” reports Breaking News.

According to Peadar Tóibín, most individuals are unaware of what a long-lasting partnership entails.

The only political party supporting a No-No vote on the proposed referendum is Aontú, reports Breaking News.

On Friday, there will be two referendums proposing constitutional amendments.

“It’s an incredible situation that we have, just a couple of days before the referendum, that the majority people do not know what the meaning of a durable relationship is,” he told a press conference in Dublin, reports Breaking News.

“We have enormous confusion over that particular definition [durable] and that confusion will be a solicitors’ paradise,” he added, reports Breaking News.
