The Aontú leader has stated that there would be “conflict” on the definition of the proposed language to amend the Constitution regarding family and care, which will result in a “solicitors’ paradise,” reports Breaking News.
According to Peadar Tóibín, most individuals are unaware of what a long-lasting partnership entails.
The only political party supporting a No-No vote on the proposed referendum is Aontú, reports Breaking News.
On Friday, there will be two referendums proposing constitutional amendments.
“It’s an incredible situation that we have, just a couple of days before the referendum, that the majority people do not know what the meaning of a durable relationship is,” he told a press conference in Dublin, reports Breaking News.
“We have enormous confusion over that particular definition [durable] and that confusion will be a solicitors’ paradise,” he added, reports Breaking News.
