The start of the working week will be a warm and bright day for most, but some areas will be blighted by the occasional heavy shower.
The rain will be concentrated across northern areas in the morning, but showers will spread across Ireland as the day goes on.
Temperatures will range between 12-17C, best in Munster. Monday night will be rather cold however, with lows of 2C predicted.
The outlook is for a similar weather pattern this week, mild temperatures of up to 18C at times, with the occasional heavy shower.
