Ireland’s good weather spell looks set to continue this week forecasters have said.
According to Met Éireann, a high pressure system will remain over the country which will bring dry and calm weather.
Although some light showers are expected in southern areas on Monday, Met Eireann say it will be a dry day with highs 15 to 18C.
Meanwhile both Tuesday and Wednesday will be relatively dry although some cloud cover is expected later in the day.
The national forecaster also say temperatures will gradually rise over the coming week with the best of the weather expected on Thursday and Friday with highs of between 18 to 21C expected.
