Met Eireann have advised anyone out tonight to take extra care as heavy rain and winds reaching 70klm are expected for most of the country.
Met Eireann said:
“Heavy rain will continue in many areas for a time tonight together with very strong winds. The worst affected areas are likely to be along exposed southern and eastern coasts with severe gusts. The rain will clear the west early tonight and the clearance will extend to remaining areas later with the winds moderating and veering westerly. Lowest temperatures around 7 or 8 degrees.”
Tomorrow is said to be cool with moderate showers mixed with sunshine.
