Clare Henderson, a young mother from Doncaster in Yorkshire posted images of her daughter who contracted herpes after being kissed by one of her mothers friends.
The shocking images were posted to Facebook to try and warn other parents from the possible health risks of placing their children in contact with various people.
Clare said: “Before 3 months old a baby cannot fight the herpes virus. If a baby contracts this it can cause liver and brain damage and lead to death. I know this sounds like I am scaremongering but if my friend had not told me about this my baby girl could have been very seriously ill.”
