Health authorities have issued an advisory note to asthma and hay fever sufferers to remain indoors, as pollen counts are rising quite dramatically.
Pollen counts are set to spike today and this weekend as temperatures are forecast to reach upwards of 20C.
The warning comes as temperatures surge upwards suddenly, but the pollen count should drop off, especially by the end of next week when rain is due.
Hay fever season normally stretches from the beginning of Spring to the end of summer in Ireland.
People are advised to share this with their friends and family who have asthma or suffer from hay fever.
