The diabolic inception of Irish Water and water charges has become a gigantic millstone around the Government’s neck, dragging it down the pit of political oblivion a little further every day.
Fianna Fáil is reportedly set to stick to its demands for the suspension of water bills if Enda Kenny attempts to gain the party’s support.
It has been confirmed by senior sources at Fianna Fail that water charges are indeed the main bone of contention, and the issue is likely to make or break a deal.
Meanwhile, an unidentified source within Fine Gael reportedly said that if Fianna Fáil asks for the abolition of water charges, a second election will inevitably happen.
