An Italian politician has been on the receiving end of a torrent of hateful and vile threats from Muslims living in the picturesque country because of her opposition to the construction of a temporary mosque that the City of Milan.
ilGiornale reports that Northern League politician Silvia Sardone received the threats after expressing her opinions on the Mosque, sharing screenshots of messages in which Sardone is threatened with being burned alive.
In one ominous threat, given the increase in such incidents in Europe, that followed mass Muslim migration, a message reads “we foreigners will enter your home and attack you”.
Ms Sardone said “These insults, many of which come from profiles of foreigners,” she says, “highlight, once again, that there is a latent hatred towards those who dare to ask for rules, controls, safety on the subject of mosques” IlGiornale reports.
Italy has seen huge number of migrants enter the country after crossing the Mediterranean from North Africa and resulting culture clash has left the people of the economically distressed country having to deal with the fallout.
