But that’s all gone today, as widespread rain and much lower temperatures are in order for today.
Sunday will remain largely overcast, with frequent outbreaks of rain across most areas, and temperatures reaching 12C at best.
Sunday night is expected to be cold, with temperatures sinking to freezing point at times.
The outlook is for a sunnier and warmer start of the new week, with temperatures reaching 15C in the afternoon.
