Weather warning in place for two counties as miserable conditions hit the south of the country

A weather warning is currently in place for two counties as miserable conditions hit the south of the country.

The Status Yellow rainfall warning, which affects counties Cork and Waterford, will remain in place until 4pm today.

The outlook is for a couple of days of mixed conditions, with rain showers and sunny periods, before the weather takes a turn for the worse towards the end of the week as an Atlantic front moves in.
