It’s been a rather miserable week, weather wise at least, and the weekend will remain unsettled across many areas, though bright sunshine will also put a welcome appearance.
The good news is that temperatures are expected to rise nationwide during the coming week, with highs of 15C likely on Wednesday and Thursday.
There will be scattered showers too, but nothing like the torrential rain of recent days.
