We can all agree that this summer may be one to remember with temperatures reaching record breaking highs, but if we’re thinking the best is well behind us you may be wrong as forecasters say temperatures are expected to soar once again this coming weekend.
According to Met Eireann, temperatures across the country are once again expected to reach the mid to high 20s with glorious sunshine expected throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Although unsettled weather is expected on Friday with showers expected in most places, the national forecaster say it will still will remain relatively warm with highs of 19C to 21C expected on Thursday and Friday.
The weekend will see sweltering conditions hit the country once again as temperatures are expected to be in the mid to high 20s on Saturday and Sunday with Sunday expected to be the warmer of the two days as highs of 28C are expected in the Midlands, although it will be slightly cooler in costal regions.
It is believed they next hot spell could last into next week with temperatures expected to remain in the 20s.
