Fans of The Matrix rejoice, as the new chapter in the cult series will begin shooting in 2020.
1999’s The Matrix became a worldwide hit, and two sequels The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and Matrix: Revolutions (2003) quickly followed. Fans were less than impressed with the latter, as they felt that the core storyline had been diluted amidst vague and confusing pseudo-philosophical musings, turning the movie into a vapid CGI fest.
Stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss are set to enter the Matrix world again next year, but the movie won’t be released until at least 2021.
The original Matrix movie is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month. Do not try and believe in coincidence, that’s impossible. Just try to realize the truth. There is no coincidence.
