Cilla Black has sadly passed away at the age of 72.
It is understood that she died at her Spanish home in Estepona, Costa del Sol, last night. The death is treated as “natural cause”, but authorities are still awaiting autopsy reports.
Cilla Black, whose real name is Priscilla White, enjoyed a long and successful career on TV and showbusiness. She had a stint as pop star in the 60s and then became a well known face on TV with programmes such as “Surprise Surprise” and “Blind Date”.
She leaves three sons and two grandchildren behind.
