The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that Ireland’s Covid-19 vaccination roll-out will be significantly increased in the coming weeks.
Speaking in a video message posted on Facebook, the Tanaiste said that the country’s vaccine programme will be accelerated in the coming weeks and he stated that people are going to be surprised.
Varadkar also told his followers that there will be greater freedoms for those who are fully vaccinated, saying green passes will be issued.
The Tanaiste said that these passes will prove that a person is fully vaccinated and therefore allow them to have more options.
