Wet and colder Bank holiday weekend ahead

Met Eireann is forecasting rather miserable weather over the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.

The high pressure system that kept Ireland bright, dry, and warm is now gone, and it’s been replaced with cooler, showery weather fronts.

The latter part of this week and the weekend are predicted to be very unsettled, with plenty rain and temperatures hovering around the low teens.

The forecast for the Bank Holiday Monday remains uncertain, but some Atlantic weather might bring in a lot of rain throughout the day.
