Tuesday started off as a rather wet day, but brighter conditions are set to develop towards the afternoon, according to Met Eireann.
Temperatures will reach highs of 22-23C later today as the weather improves again tomorrow, and for the rest of the week.
The overall forecast for the coming few days is for mostly dry and mild weather, though there will be some light showers at times.
