Police in Scotland are investigating the robbery of a massive amount of blue WKD from a brewery in Scotland.
€320,000 worth of alcohol was stolen from Caledonian Bottlers in the East Ayrshire town of Cumnock. Up to 100,000 bottles of blue WKD were stolen from the brewery.
Kilmarnock police said thieves first broke into the Cumnock Business Park Brewery on Saturday night but they then returned in a convoy of three heavy duty trailers / trailers and stole several WKD pallets in the early hours of Monday morning.
It’s understood that an investigation is underway to determine exactly how the theft occurred. A lorry with a vast amount of the stolen goods still on board has been found burned out.
