What homeless crisis? Varadkar thinks Love Island’s Maura Higgins has an interesting turn of phrase




There’s 10,000 Irish people sleeping rough, in hotel rooms, park benches and hostels around Ireland yet the so-called leader of Ireland, An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar appears to be too busy enjoying watching ‘Love Island’ on television than doing anything about it.

Speaking about how he watches the tv show ‘Love Island’ on occasion, Varadkar express how impressed he is with Irish participant Maura Higgins.

‘Love Island’ is a TV show that many claim is just produced for participants to openly flirt and have sex with each other.

The Fine Gael leader said that he occasionally watches ‘Love Island’ and that Maura Higgins and an interesting turn of phrase in how she talks.

One social media user said “Great job, Leo. Keep up the sterling work on watching reality TV, forget about the 10,000 homeless people”.
