Basically the whole country has been vaccinated, or at least as many as will ever get it, but there’s still a massive amount of people in the hospital with covid.
It’s understood that over the past number of days, covid cases in Ireland’s hospitals have gone up by 150 to over 600.
Doctors say that people who are presenting with covid actually are presenting solely with the virus rather than just coming to hospital with something else and having covid detected while they’re there.
Restriction measures thankfully aren’t going to be increased any time soon, but the government continue to threaten the public by declaring that they’ll follow public health advice from the likes of Holohan and his team.
