As the powder settles on the surprise Italian win and what may or may not have been caught on live television and broadcast to 100’s of millions across Europe and beyond, the spotlight now turns to Nikkie de Jager, pictured above in the purple.
Nikkie de Jager is the first transgender woman to host the Eurovision. Nikkie, a “makeup guru” has over 13.8 million subscribers since starting the NikkieTutorials YouTube channel at the age of 14.
In January 2020, Nikkie announced on Youtube that she was transgender when she was allegedly blackmailed about her sex. The video has had over 37 million views. In her YouTube video she comes out as transgender saying “When I was younger, I was born in the wrong body, which means that I am transgender.”
