A very harrowing interview on the Late Late Show tonight showed the true devastation caused to parents whose children desperately need transplants.
Maria Coyne spoke candidly about her awful experience of her son Gavin desperately needing a new heart.
Gavin was forced to go to Newcastle where tragically he died just last February from a bleed on the brain as a result of the heart transplant.
Tina spoke about her son, Shane who thankfully received a transplant that worked well for him.
The ladies both said that children who need transplants should have the facilities in Ireland.
