A white couple have been brutally killed following an alleged racial attack in South Africa.
According to The Daily Mail newspaper, the couple who have been named as Johanco Fleischman, 19, and girlfriend Jessica Kuhn, 23, were brutally shot after their vehicle ran out of diesel on the N12 West near Benoni, which is located approximately 20 miles east of Johannesburg.
It is believed that the pair who were travelling with two employees were shot as they waited for a family member to bring them a can of diesel in order to get their stricken Toyota Hilux going.
Although the two employees were badly beaten in the attack, they were spared death by the group of black shooters who fled the scene.
It is alleged that one of the group opened fire after shouting a racial slur at the couple as they walked by the vehicle.
Police investigating the incident say Fleischman was hit with a number of bullets during the barbaric shooting, whilst Kuhn who was heard screaming inside the vehicle died as a result of single gunshot wound to the head.
Reports in South Africa say the gang then attempted to cover their tracks by setting fire to the vehicle before fleeing the scene.
It is understood that the couple were found by a passing motorist who immediately doused the fire using an extinguisher, before he rang emergency services, however the couple were sadly pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Police investigating the shootings say they are following a number of lines of enquiry and warned the public that the three men are considered armed and dangerous.
