As Jeffrey Epstein, the American banker who committed suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex offences, was the subject of court filings, a New York judge has started to reveal the identity of others connected to him, reports RTE.

The nearly 1,000 pages of depositions and statements in the previously sealed documents are noteworthy because they feature former US presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, who are not charged with any crimes in this case.

Several Epstein acquaintances who were previously named as John or Jane Does in a lawsuit filed against Epstein’s former mistress, Ghislaine Maxwell, are included on the list of about 150 persons. It does not imply any kind of cooperation with Epstein’s transgressions, reports RTE.

According to the records, a lady who claimed to have been abused by Epstein claimed that in 2001, Prince Andrew of Britain touched her breast at Epstein’s Manhattan apartment.

Among the allegations mentioned in an early batch of previously redacted records that otherwise revealed few new details about the breadth of Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking activities was the incident, which Andrew has rejected and which has been covered by other media sites.

In the days ahead, more documents should become available without their seals or redactions, reports RTE.
