Will you get it? Up to 150,000 people classified as “high risk” to start getting vaccines from Monday

The Health Service Executive chief Paul Reid said vaccines would begin this week for those classified as high risk due to serious illness.

He said it would start with 10,000 doses of the vaccine to be given to people with neurological problems and disabilities between the ages of 16 and 69.

According to RTE, Reid said the HSE was working on a clear list to identify those most at risk for chronic illnesses, adding that it was not a simple list.

He said it could be a high number of around 150,000 people considered very high risk.
