The Covid-19 vaccine portal is scheduled to open to people ages 30 to 39 next week, but this week the number of vaccines has dropped amid uncertainty about a lack of supplies.
Starting next week, pharmacists will also administer vaccines for the first time with the goal of offering the vaccine to some 140,000 people over the age of 50 who have yet to register.
It will also have a limited supply of Pfizer vaccines that can be given to people who live far from vaccination centres.
The news arrives from uncertainty about vaccine deliveries and concerns that people over 60 will be overwhelmed by younger, lower-risk people receiving the full vaccine earlier than they were scheduled to.
