It’s going to turn even colder as next week gets under way.
There’s a band of showery rain coming from the West that will move eastwards as showers are widespread with patches of mist and fog.
Showers will confined to parts of South, west coast and north east tomorrow and the weather starts to dry out.
Severe frost is forecast but it will mainly be dry on Sunday. There’s sharp frost on Sunday night while Monday will be very wet and windy.
The national forecaster Met Eireann say much colder weather will start on Tuesday with snow expected.
