Ireland has around 900,000 patient waiting list. That’s nearly one million people waiting to get into hospital for diagnosis or treatments, many no doubt in pain and suffering, both mentally and physically.
Tis week at the climate change conference COP26, which took place in Glasgow, Micheal Martin said “Ireland is ready to play its part” as he addressed world leaders.
The Fianna Fail leader also revealed the country has vowed to more than double its contribution to help developing countries, delivering at least €225m a year by 2025 to help them fight the climate crisis, reports the Irish Mirror.
Martin had previously pledged to cut methane emissions by 30%. We’re waiting for the dairy farmers to respond to this latest government pledge.
