Woman (40s) detained in custody this morning after gardai arrest her on murder charges of Conor, Darragh and Caral McGinley

On Tuesday evening Gardai arrested a woman on suspicion of murder, following the discovery of three dead children inside a house in Newcastle, Co. Dublin, last Friday.

The bodies of 9-year-old Conor McGingley, 7-year-old Darragh McGingley, and 3-year-old Carla McGingley were found inside a property located in the Parson’s Court area of Newcastle.

A woman aged in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being detained for further questioning this morning in Clondalkin Garda Station.

It’s understood that gardai have 24 hours to question the woman before charging or releasing her.
