A 74-year-old woman has reportedly become the oldest woman ever to give birth after giving birth to twins on Thursday.
According to reports in India, the woman Erramatti Mangayamma, and her husband, 80-year-old Rajarao,
Mangayamma from a small Indian village in the Eastern Godavari, became parents for the first time after Erramatti gave birth to two baby girls weighing 4.4 pounds.
The couple who had been unable to conceive for years were given fresh hope after a doctor agreed to allow Erramatti to undergo one round of IVF treatment in January.
Reports say the two girls were born via C-section and both girls along with their mother are in good health.
