Police are investigating a child who was hit at a park in Littleport, reports Sky.

Isabella Tucker, from Ronald Street, London, was taken to King’s Lynn Hospital by ambulance at 6.45pm on Friday, August 25.

She later died of her injuries, reports Sky.

Paying tribute to her daughter, Vaida Sprainite said: “A beautiful daughter and little sister. It’s so easy to love you. Loved you from first sight and will love you forever,” reports Sky.

A 42-year-old woman from the Leeds area has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

She has been released on bail and is expected to return to Thorpe Wood police station in Peterborough on November 24, Cambridgeshire Police said.

The incident took place at Horsley Hale Farm, a glamping resort on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.

In a statement, the holiday park added: “We would like to pay special tribute to the team of staff working that evening who could not have done more to deal with what was a terribly difficult situation,” reports Sky.

It has set up a fund to plant a tree in Isabella’s memory with the contributions from the people staying with them at the time.
