A 55 year old woman has sadly died following a road traffic incident in Co Tipperary on Monday evening.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the woman aged 55 was killed whilst traveling on the R639 Mitchelstown to Cahir road at Kilcoran.
It is understood the woman believed to be a pedestrian was with a child at the time of the incident.
Gardai investigating the incident say the road will remain closed until 10am this morning.
