A woman was dragged to death after her dog’s leash got stuck in the doors of a train on a San Francisco platform.
41-yr-old Amy Adams was standing on the platform at Powell Street Station in San Francisco Monday afternoon when she boarded the BART train.
As the doors closed, she suddenly decided to jump back off the train, reportedly. But her dog, tied around her waist with a leash, stayed in the train and got trapped in the door.
Then the train, with the dog left inside, took off and pulled its owner onto the tracks killing her instantly. The victim is believed to have waved at someone just before getting off the train, BART officials said.
